OMG! Falling!
Well, that may be a slight exaggeration. I think it's just stress.
I think I might be getting some sleep paralysis (AKA Old Hag). Basically, I'll wake up in the middle of a dream but be unable to move for at least a good 5 minutes (Ok, maybe it seems longer since I'm, you know, just laying there). It's only happened a couple of times, so it might not be a continuous thing. Let's hope not. So far, it's just been paralysis without other sleep disorder symptoms, and I haven't hallucinated yet. It still scares me to not be able to move. I've also seemed to have gained the ability to wake myself up during a dream, so maybe that has something to do with it.
Halloween was fun. I had a sleep over. I had bobbing for apples. It was my first time ever bobbing for apples. It was fun. The first time I did it, I kept biting the apple, but it wouldn't stay in my mouth, so there was an apple floating with bites taken out of it until I could finally get it. The second time I BARELY managed to get one on the first bite. It was awesome! I also enjoyed giving Glynnis a hard time during her turn. Risa didn't do it. We also watched Trick or Treat. I really liked it. My family and I agreed that next year I should go as the Pumpkin Monster thing.
I also hurt my toe pretty badly when leaving an offering for the spirits. See, in my neighborhood there's a cliff that used to be part of the Matawan Creek but dried up, with only a small swamp at the bottom that has a tiny stream, a mere shell of it's former self. basically while trick or treating, I stop over there, reach into my bag, and throw a handful or two of candy to appease the spirits. But since this year I only trick or treated a tiny bit, and didn't go over by the cliff, instead I decided to leave my offering in a small patch if treats in my backyard. I originally was going to leave some of my parent's candy (Reeses, Butterfingers, and I think Almond Joys) but my mom stopped me and convinced me to just pick out the crappier candy from my trick or treating instead. I did, and on the way back to the house, I slipped, stubbed my toe, and my toenail got ripped off a little. I ran inside and stated that "The spirits want Chocolate!" though in all honestly it was probably just me being a klutz.
We also used my Ouija Board. We talked to a Native American spirit, who fell in love with a woman of a different race (Probably white), and was killed for it. As we were doing that, I was starting to feel sick, and my nose was for some strange reason really runny and stuffy and I was sneezing. We asked if he was making me sick, and he said yes. Then we asked if he was angry with us and he said no. Then why did you make me sick? Gah! After that was all done I got some mint tea with honey and felt all better.
I've been having a weird tendency to suddenly feel light headed and dizzy for no apparent reason. I've been like that for maybe 6 months, but it seems to be getting worse, I don't know if it's from hunger, or some weird blood pressure thing or what, but it's kinda annoying.
Well, enough of me complaining about how I'm a complete mess right now. In good news, aside from how fun Halloween was, I'm genuinely excited for Thanksgiving! Right now I really want to go outside with friends, drinking hot apple cider and jumping into big piles of leaves. Oh how I love Autumn. X3 Thanksgiving is going to be fun, and then Christmas and winter. I love this time of year, I'm kinda excited!
Deadly Ladies Updates
Yes, it's taking me FOREVER to complete page 3. It's got a real background, and I've been procrastinating on it A LOT. It's actually becoming a huge pain in my ass...
On the plus side, I also finished sketching the next couple of pages, so it's continuing. And I did a few more character designs....
